During the initial first half of the campaign, Arsenal enjoyed a superb series of performances which allowed them to maintain themselves at the top of the English league for a significant amount of time but things turned to the worse for Arsene Wenger and his players after some of the most important figures in the squad sustained injuries.
Aaron Ramsey, Theo Walcott, Jack Wilshere and even Mesut Ozil suffered injuries which seriously hurt the chances of Arsenal on continuing their charge at the top spots of the Premier League but Aaron Ramsey admitted that all they want to do now is finish on a positive note.
Ramsey made his return from an injury he sustained which kept him out of action for 3 months and he came back in a stunning fashion as he scored the opening goal of Arsenal’s match against Hull City.
"I am obviously absolutely gutted with what went on after Christmas with my injury, but that is football and you have to bounce back from that. We have had some bad injuries in the second half of the season, but that is something we have to overcome and hopefully we will be thereabouts in the Premier League again next season." Ramsey stated.
The 23 years old midfielder continued on saying that Arsenal is more ambitious than ever and they are focused on getting another shot at the Champions League which is why he wants the club and his teammates to conclude the campaign by finishing strong and not allow any slip ups at this point in time.
"We are hungrier than ever together. To get into the Champions League again is where we want to be, where every player wants to test themselves. We want to finish the job off now and get back in there again next season." Ramsey continued on as he spoke to the media.
