Thiago Silva cannot understand Chelsea’s poor form

Chelsea defender Thiago Silva has admitted that he is baffled by the poor form experienced by the club. The blues slumped to their worst run of the season after a 3-1 loss to Manchester City on Sunday. This was the fifth defeat of the campaign for the team, who have now lost four out of the last six league outings. Even though the second-half performance against Manchester City was impressive Chelsea, their overall game has left many players confused about the current situation. One of the impressive performance for Chelsea this season has been Thiago Silva.

The experienced centre back says that the problems faced by the club cannot be explained at this moment. However, he has admitted that the only way for Chelsea to come out of this difficult situation is to work harder and become stronger as a team. Chelsea will be able to take consolation from the second half performance against City. As a result of the latest defeat, Chelsea have dropped to 8th place in the league table and it will be a tough ask for the team to climb back into the top four on an instant basis. The next match for Chelsea will be against Morecambe in the FA Cup. The next league outing for the club will be against Fulham, but this match is at Craven cottage.

"Today was painful in the first half in football terms because their level of play shows where we need to aspire to. In the second half I saw a reaction but the work needs to be done. I don't understand what's wrong.
